Condolence: On the first anniversary of Marian's passing, we want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Condolence: When we moved to Maine in 2002 Marian rented her little house on Gurneytown to us even though we came from Tennessee, and had three Tennessee cats. She and Rodney preferred a tenant with no pet, but she let us in anyway. Rodney always referred to us when talking to Marian as "Your Tenants". I got the feeling that it did not matter to him what Marian did as long as she was happy.

Apparently Marian thought our educations were lacking as she attempted to broaden our horizons by bringing dandelion greens, and fiddle heads on various occasions. We never developed a taste for them, but always appreciated the fact that Marian would just show up unannounced with her green of the day and a smile on her face.

After we moved from Gurneytown we would stop by and see Marian on occasion, but as things go in life, never often enough, and now she is gone. Marian had an infectious laugh, and a good soul and we will miss her. Until such time as Marian and Rodney are reunited, our prayer is for Rodney to enjoy God's Peace during this very sad time in his life.
