Obituary for Colleen M. Rego

Colleen M.  Rego
Colleen M. (McInnis) Rego, 88, a lifelong resident of Barter’s Island, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 in the Miles Hospital in Damariscotta surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Rego in 2012.
She was born on September 29, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Russell and Lucy (Greenleaf) McInnis. Colleen was a graduate of Boothbay Region High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking throughout her life. In her spare time she would do crossword puzzles, work in her flower gardens and especially liked to read.
She is survived by her three sons, Michael Rego and his wife, Wendy of Boothbay, Tim Rego of Southport and Brian Rego and his wife, Patricia of Boothbay; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her two sisters, Kathleen Hodgdon and Susan Spearin.
A Memorial service for Colleen will be held in the chapel of the Maine Veteran’s Cemetery on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Twelve Noon. Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend.
