Condolences

Condolence From: Betsey deGroff
Condolence: Marion was such an amazing woman, and she set an example of strength for ALL women. She subbed for me at Medomak Valley High School during the births of all three of my children in the early 1980s, and whipped my kids right into shape for concerts. Just one of the most amazing examples of the way I have wanted to be as a woman! She has always been an inspiration to me. She could have been President!

Condolence: I just wanted to correct my first Condolence for Miss Gray. She served in the WAVES during WWII. Initially she was turned down for being too short, however, her patriotism and determination got her in to the service. We will always remember her service to our country and the sacrifices that she endured. God Bless you Miss Gray.

Condolence From: Jim Doyle
Condolence: Miss Gray was my Home Room Teacher as well as my Music Teacher at Monroe-Woodbury CHS. She was a wonderful Teacher with a great sense of humor. I was pleased to meet Miss Gray again at our "Mini-High School Reunion in Myrtle Beach, SC in 2012. We had several conversations and she told us of her military service in WWII, as a WAC, flying airplanes to Europe. We will always remember Miss Gray for the caring, beautiful person she was. God Bless you and your family.
