Condolence From: Libby Miner
Condolence: I remember Danny well from all the years he was at the house helping my dad with something, from stacking wood to probably fixing clam hods or whatever, just hanging out. He and my dad were good buddies. I know if he and my grandmother were still here he'd feel the loss deeply. So sorry for your family's loss.

Condolence: Danny has been a longtime friend of my husband Ray and I for many years. I just want to share a favorite memory of mine. Every year we go to the Friendship lobster boat races. Sometimes we would go over to the dock and pick up Danny and he would come on board to watch the race. A few years ago we picked him up and instead of staying on our boat he got on board our son, Scott's boat. After a while we understood why because there he was...sitting in a chair between my daughter-in-law Leslie and her friend Tori. They were having just the best time. There he sat with a big grin on his face enjoying the race and being doted on by these two very pretty ladies. On that day he got treated like a king. Rest in peace our good friend, Ray and Nancy Carter

Condolence: I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all of Danny’s family. For right now, there’s no detour around grief, no shortcut through mourning. However, 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, “... power beyond what is normal “, to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget. It means we recover. We recover because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28 which says, “... all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out “. Jesus was referring to the resurrection. That is our amazing hope! The Bible likens our hope to an anchor. Just like an anchor stabilizes a ship, our hope stabilizes us and keeps us from drowning in overwhelming sadness. The Bible describes our Creator as, “... the God of all comfort “. One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort be your comfort now, during this time of sorrow.
