Obituary for Steven Reed

Steven Reed
Steven Arnold Reed, 64, passed away unexpectedly. He was born on January 3, 1954 in Rockland, Maine to Gerald Reed, Sr. and Grace (Monroe) Reed.

Steven graduated from Medomak Valley High School and then joined the U.S. Marine Corps. After his tour of duty he owned and ran a poultry farm. He later worked for Gerald Reed Forest Products and also harvested clams.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is predeceased by his parents and brothers Wendell and Gary.

Steven is survived by his brothers Larry Reed, of El Paso, TX and Gerald Reed Jr. of Waldoboro, ME. Also surviving are Aunts Ruth Benner of Rockland, Evelyn Reed of Waldoboro, Uncle Ralph Simmons Jr. of Waldoboro, nephews Clinton Gerald Reed of Waldoboro and
Larry Reed, Jr. of Rockland and niece Paula Reed Ryder of Shrewsbury, MA.

A graveside service will be held for Steven at Shuman Cemetery on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Tom Rawley officiating.
