Mary Etta Peaslee, 76, of Boothbay, died September 21, 2018 at Maine Medical Center.
She was lovingly surrounded by close family.

Mary was born March 28, 1942 in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, the daughter of the late Leslie A. Barter and Pearl A. Pitcher. She was predeceased by her son, Stephen F. Barter and husband, Freeman. She is survived by her sister, Virginia A. Chubbuck, her husband Carroll of Edgecomb, Maine. Mary leaves behind nieces, nephews and friends.

Her interests were gardening, nature and traveling.

Per Mary’s request, there will not be services. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter, P.O Box 7, Edgecomb, ME. 04556, or to the American Heart Association, 51 U.S.-1 # M Scarborough, ME. 04074
