Condolence: Like the Melgards, we will miss seeing her on her walks, and chatting. or just waving as we went by in the car. I'm pleased they picked our road to walk on because they added a glad spirit to the neighborhood.
Condolence: As a family, we have been very blessed to have had Lottie in our lives. She will always hold a special place in our hearts for the wonderful companionship, the excellent care and love she showed our dad. We’ll always be grateful for the stories she would share of growing up in Union, of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, telling us about the antics of sledding and four wheeling with the kids that would always bring a smile to her face. She has given us inspiration, walking every day, rain or shine. We’ll always remember her rising early with Dad to get to a horse pull where they would visit with friends and stay to watch the very last team cross the finish line. We’ll remember her spending time in the garden, admiring Dad’s ‘green thumb’ and helping him weed or pick vegetables. We’ll remember always the puzzles, sharing in the fun finding those pieces that she probably held out special just so you’d join her to find a missing piece or two. We’ll remember her playing Hangman with the kids and the fun she had playing Sequence. She valued her friendships and, most of all, her family. We have been blessed. She will always be remembered as a very special lady.
Condolence: Lottie was a wonderful neighbor - she and her sister in law Nan often took their walks on our dirt road and she and Nan would stop and chat about the events of the day. Always cheerful and kind with a good sense of humor, we will miss her.
