Condolence: I had the honor and privilege of serving as the associate pastor at Westminster United Methodist Church when Bob was the senior pastor. Bob often made the association with Paul and Timothy when talking of our relationship. He was a mentor and a friend. He and Mary Jo nurtured and encouraged Lisa and me in our early years of ministry. I am grateful to God that our paths crossed for a time, and Lisa and I send our sincere condolences to the family as they celebrate this Christian gentleman.

Condolence: Our deepest sympathy to the family of Rev Zimmerli. My husband and I were married in Mt Olive United Methodist Church, Randallstown MD by Rev Zimmerli in August 1973. It was a wonderful ceremony-- and we are still married! Thank you Rev Zimmerli for a long and successful ministry to so many people! We need more pastors like you. Rob & Donna Clarke

Condolence: The Community Band and I will miss Bob very much. Although he could not hear the band director giving instructions, he just played to what we were playing. I will miss his Navy stories and the stories he told about his children. He was so proud of them and the accomplishments they have made. I will also miss his contagious smile.

Condolence: Rev. Dr. Zimmerli was one of the kindest and gentle individuals that I have ever met. I have fond memories of our most recent conversation last month in my office during one of his many visits. I will miss his shy smile and countenance. He was truly a special person. My sincerest condolences, Helen Bates

Condolence: My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Robert. The loss of our dear loved ones can be very difficult and distressing to cope with. It helps me to remember that they now safely rest in the loving memory of our Grand Creator, awaiting the fulfillment of his purpose. Also, may your own good and loving memories of him help to soothe your hearts. Sincerely ( Revelation 21 : 3-5; Acts 24 : 15; Psalms 37 : 11 )
