Message: Mr. Conway was a remarkable teacher; he was an extraordinary role model and never failed to exemplify what the best teacher should be. I didn't enjoy or appreciate S.S. or history too much until I started learning from him. Mr. Conway had a unique way of relaying history, often telling his own interesting true-life stories. (I can vividly recall him describing the effects of mustard gas on his own skin! I remember this and so much more and it's been nearly 30 years since I was in his class!) Thank you for choosing to teach, because it was the perfect choice for you (and for your students). How do I know this? Because you loved us, (it showed) and we loved you. Peace and prayers to you and to your family, you will be missed.
