Condolences

Condolence From: Doug Maass
Condolence: I'm sorry to learn, even belatedly, of Arlene's passing. I recently found their business card.
Many, many years ago, when I first ventured into buying antiques and came across the Orcutts at an outdoor show. I first learned the definition of "pickers" from them. I eventually purchased a complete Beers Atlas of Westchester and another Beers of the complete Hudson Valley. Richard admonished me that, even though it would be more profitable to cut up and sell the individual maps, it would be more responsible, historically, to keep the atlases as complete volumes. I have kept my promise to him for more than 50 years and my atlases reside in the local historical society. My thanks to them for their caring.

Condolence From: Hall's of Thomaston
Condolence: On the first anniversary of Arlene's passing, we want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We hope that the memories of the past give you encouragement for the future as you walk each day with your loved on in your heart. It is our privilege and honor to have served your family.

Condolence From: Stephanie Wood Busko
Condolence: My deepest sympathies to the Orcutt family. Your parents were wonderful people. I have so many wonderful memories of antiquing, CT & the Round Pond, ME camp. I still have Arlene's pie crust recipe from a visit to Waldoboro with Jeffery.
