Condolence: So sorry to hear of your passing Maxine, Wonderful childhood memories and tons of pictures in albums my mom kept. You were wonderful to me during the time that I lost daddy and let me cry with you. Jaren also speaks very fondly of you and remembers our afternoon at your house. You are truly loved and respected and my fond memories of Jack and Earle stay with me. You will be missed. Rest in peace dear lady.

Condolence From: Diane Randlett
Condolence: I met Maxine at the YMCA. I remember her husband John going to the Y, when it first opened. I was nine or ten. He carried a navy blue duffle bag each time that I saw him in the late 1960's. It was a traditional half circle with a zipper and two handles in the middle. That Christmas I got a duffle bag just like this for Christmas, I thought it was so cool.
The Y is and was a very important place for physical activity, but also for meeting new friends. It was such a joy to meet Maxine and get to know her over these past ten years or so. Whenever I saw her, she made my day. She had an inner joy and a real love for people which radiated all around her when she saw you. Her caring was healing and her smile was priceless. Though I will miss her very much, and can only imagine how she will be sorely missed by her family; all who knew her were very blessed, she was truly a gift. I am very sorry for your loss Earle and Jack and families.I hope that you will be healed by your memories and God's great promise that all who believe in him will see each other again. Maxine was a very inspiring lady!
