Obituary for Nilo Matson

Nilo Matson
Nilo Matson, 76, died peacefully at the Lucette Boarding Home in Thomaston early on Monday June 11th, 2018 with his friends and caregivers by his side. Nilo was a fixture in Thomaston as many waved to him during his many walks around town and up to the local convenience stores. Nilo was a big Red Sox fan and he was so proud of the time he got to go to a game at Fenway Park.. He talked about that for many months after. He will be sorely missed by his family at the Lucette Boarding home where he had resided for over 30 years. and all of us who got to know him in Thomaston, Maine.. Per his wishes no services will be held. He will be laid to rest privately.
