Obituary for Linda Maria Willis

Linda Maria Willis, 74, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully November 30th at the Sussman House in Rockport, following a long battle with cancer.

Linda was born December 9, 1943 in Nashua, New Hampshire the daughter of Carl J. Morrill and Anna (Staiti) Morrill.

She graduated from Milford High School, continuing her nursing education in Massachusetts where she worked for many years in the nursing field. Linda met and married Charles Willis II and they chose to make their home in Waldoboro, Maine.

Linda was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and in her earlier years a Giant’s fan.

Linda was predeceased by her husband, Charles and a son Charles “Chipper” Willis III on April 9, 1990.

She is survived by her son James “Jamie” and companion Michele, her brothers Harvey Morrill and Michael Morrill and wife Mae, her grandchildren she was very proud of Amber,Jake, Jolea, Dana, Kaitlynn, Ronnie, Andrew, Catherine, Brianna, Shawn, Devon, Taylor, and Casey, her great grandchildren Gavyn, Haiden, Asher, Lukas, Annebelle, Lilly, Drew, Noah, Tucker, Cassie, and Kolie, as well as several nieces and nephews. Special people she thought of as her own, Chris Reynolds and Kevin and Lynn Sproul.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Halls Funeral Home, 949 Main Street, in Waldoboro. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
