Obituary for June Louise Fleck (Robinson)
June Louise Robinson Fleck, 91, widow of Leslie C. Fleck passed away in Belfast, Maine on January 16th, 2019. June was born at home in Thomaston on June 28th, 1927 to parents Harold Archibald Robinson and Vera Averall Moore Robinson. June was a 1945 graduate of Thomaston High School.
After graduation June became a telephone operator for thirteen years until technology changed and the phones went to dial. After working as an operator she enjoyed working at W. T. Grants in Rockland , and Reed’s Gift Shop in Warren. June was a member of the Thomaston Baptist Church. She very much enjoyed being a R.S.V.P volunteer at the Knox Center in Rockland as well as at the Shore Village Nursing home also of Rockland.
In addition to her parents and her husband June was predeceased by two brothers James Arthur Robinson and Averall Robinson.
June is survived by her Son Stephen and wife Lisa of South Lake Tahoe, CA, Her Grandson Jerrad Robinson and wife Renee of Minnesota and Granddaughters Allison Leonard of Maine and Marlaina Robinson of CA. She is also survived by three great grandsons- Patrick Johnson, Jackson Leonard and Caden Robinson. Along with several cousins, nieces , nephews and many friends.
June will be laid to rest alongside her loving husband Leslie in the Village Cemetery, Thomaston, Maine. on May 7th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Family and Friends are invited to attend. Rev. Wayne Sawyer will officiate.
