Condolence From: Linda Vigue
Condolence: Sad to hear about Robert and Marguerite passing a day apart. She and I were each other’s oldest friends - in K-2 we walked home from school on nice days - and then we moved into the new Prescott Memorial School, and eventually graduated high school together. From about the age of six or so we spent our summers swimming almost every afternoon at Cub Cove while the campers had their siesta - alone and unsupervised - those were such happy times and would never be allowed these days. Fun times and great memories. RIP —Linda Turffs Vigue

Condolence: My mother worked with Marguerite for many years at Central Beauty School. I can remember talking with Marguerite she was always very direct, she didn't hold anything back. She will be missed.

Condolence: Sorry to hear of the losses to the Linscott family. Marguerite will be remembered as my beauty school instructor, my boss as she hired me fresh from school and most of all as a friend. Though I did not stay in touch she has remained in my thoughts over the years. Rest in peace Teach. Xoxo

Condolence: Many sympathies to the family for your loss. I remember Marguerite as a school friend and neighbor who could always be counted on, always had a direct answer for you, and had a subtle sense of humor. Rest in peace, Marguerite.

Condolence: "Teach" was my instructor at CBS in Augusta many years ago. Fond memories of her and yes she was very skilled. I had not seen her for many years but wish that I had. May she rest in great peace. Aimee Tyler

Condolence From: Martha Johnston-Nash
Condolence: Marguerite's enterprising personality showed early on when she opened a small takeout down the road from us, across from their house. We Johnston girls would visit often daily as long as it was open. She loved feeding the mallards, who flocked to her pond - what a sight to see! And we would know it was growing season when her large garden would be plowed. Rest in peace, Marguerite.
