Craig Dorr, 46, of Dresden , passed away on Wednesday, September 18 , 2019 at Maine General Medical Center. He was born October 21, 1972 in Augusta, Maine . Craig attended local schools and was a 1991 graduate of Richmond High School. After high school with his love of the outdoors and a special knack for growing things he worked for several landscaping companies in the area as well as assisting his father Charlie in the family plumbing business .
He loved to fish from an early age, and enjoyed family gatherings , cookouts and spending special time and adventures with his mother Jean . He was an independent person with a strong Christian faith that he relied on when times were tough.
Craig was predeceased by his grandparents, George and Charlotte Sidelinger and Charles and Alberta Dorr Sr.
He is survived by his parents, Ted and Jean Genthner of Dresden and Charles and Judy Dorr Jr. of Boothbay, sister, Shannon Sidelinger of Waldoboro as well as many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
The family will honor Craig privately.
