Marinel A. House 52 of Boothbay Harbor, ME passed away peacefully on October 29, 2019. She was born to Sally (Pottle) and Calvin Barter. Marinel grew up on Southport, attended local schools and worked for several businesses in the Boothbay Region; First Federal Savings, Boothbay Region Greenhouses as a wedding coordinator in the floral department, and most recently at Robinson’s Wharf.

Marinel will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her caring, loving and strong personality. She loved socializing, always wore a beautiful smile and looked forward to the next adventure. She had a passion for live music festivals and spending time on the water.

She is survived by her parents, Sally and Calvin Barter of Boothbay Harbor. Son, Nicholas House of Boothbay Harbor. Uncle, Clayton Pottle and wife Cindy of Southport, several cousins, and companion Jerry Lord of Boothbay.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Robinson’s Wharf, Southport, ME.
