Evelyn Clark Morse went to be with her heavenly family on Monday, February 24, 2020 at the age of 91. Evelyn was born on December 28, 1928 in Rockland, Maine. She was the youngest of three daughters born to Ralph and Vincie Trask Clark.

She was a graduate of Rockland High School, Class of 1947 and a 1949 graduate from the Portland Beauty School of Cosmetology. Evelyn enjoyed many days at the Spruce Head Island family cottage. She was involved in many organizations such as the Rebecca’s, Cub Scouts and Senior Citizens. She was a member of the Aldersgate Methodist Church in Rockland as a young child and raised her children in the same church. Evelyn lived and worked her whole life in the mid-coast area and retired from GTE Osram-Sylvania’s in Waldoboro in 1990 after a 25-year career with them.

Evelyn was predeceased by her parents and her 2 sisters; Harriet (Joe) Soychak and Edith (Jack) Williams. Also predeceasing her was her childhood and best friend Leona Pierpont.

Surviving are Evelyn’s children; Kathy (Rick) Wood of Richmond, VA, Bob (Ruth) Lagonegro of Schwenksville, PA, Carol Lagonegro of Waldoboro and Karen (Rick) Migliore of Union.

Also surviving are 8 grandchildren; Lisa Allard, Kami (Brian) Douglas, Daniel (Amber) Lagonegro, Sara Hackett, Robin and Andrew Buck, Matt and Scott Migliore. Great grandchildren; Ryan and Liam Allard, Paige and Addison Douglas, Wakan Sturges and Cedar Lagonegro, Ava Hackett, Heather Do and Noah Buck.

The family would like to thank Evelyn’s niece Patty Brissette for all her loving time spent with her while she was at Quarry Hill, the Quarry Hill staff that made her last year full of socialization and activities and the staff at the Sussman House for their kind and loving care to her and her family in her final days.

Evelyn was a kind, loving and caring person and will be sadly missed by all.

A graveside service will be held in the spring with the date and time to be announced.
