Robert (Bob) Paul Conrad

Bob passed away peacefully while on a walk on his farm on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020. He was born and raised in Aurora, IL. He graduated from Wayne State University. He worked as a guidance counselor in Rockland, Maine, and Waltham, MA. He was a recognized artist and goldsmith in Newburyport, MA and in Tenants Harbor, Maine, where he most recently made his home. He enjoyed the ocean and boating.
He is survived by his sons, Peter Conrad and his wife, Karen, of Beverly, MA, Phillip Conrad and his wife, Lori, and grandson, Walter, of Henderson, NV, and his daughter, Sarah Conrad Weisman, and her husband, Harris, and grandchildren, Theo and Phoebe, of Baldwinsville, NY, and his long-time partner, Jan McCoy. He was predeceased by sister, Elaine Blatner, and his brother, Dale Conrad.
A memorial service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held in spring 2021.
