Obituary for Ronald B. Hall

Ronald Burleigh Hall, aged 67, passed away in his home on July 2nd, 2022 in Cushing. He was born March 5th, 1955 to parents George and Madeline Hall of Beechwood Street in Thomaston.

Ron was a devoted father to his three children, Heidi, Mackenzie, and Ronald Jr. and a loving grandfather to his two granddaughters, Jaymie and Esme, and three grandsons Kris, Kyle, and Myles. He was a lifelong blue-collar worker, having grown up on a dairy farm and working every job from carpentry to logging to lobstering, and even welding at Bath Iron Works. Ron truly was the jack-of-all trades and could fix your car, your leak, or your bad day. He enjoyed spending his weekends on the pontoon, his evenings golfing, and his commutes driving Sally B. Ron was an avid snowmobiler and spent his winters in Millinocket. He loved fishing and ice fishing, and had rediscovered his joy of hunting this past fall, spending most of his early mornings and late nights in his deer blind. Ron was a friend to all and knew no strangers. He was a positive presence everywhere he went and made an impact on everybody he met. His influence, knowledge, and memory will always be in the hearts of those who’s lives he’s touched.

He is survived by his daughter Heidi and son-in-law Jay McMahon, daughter Mackenzie and her dogs Finn and Theo, and son Ronald Jr. and daughter-in-law Rose Hall, all of Cushing; his girlfriend Tammy Thorbjornson of Cushing; his granddaughters Jaymie McMahon and Esme Hall, both of Cushing, and his grandsons Kris, Kyle, and Myles McMahon of Thomaston; his siblings Greg Hall and Joe Palleschi of Mt. Vernon, Brad Hall of Thomaston, and Benita Hall of Hope; his nieces and nephews Vicki Hatch of Hope, Courtnie Hall of Whitefield, Bria Hall of Poland, and Jim Hall and Deidre Coleman of Durham, as well as his endless list of friends and family.

A Celebration of life will be held at Kevin's Landing 117 River Road Cushing, ME on Saturday July 9, 2022 at 3pm in the afternoon.
