Ron grew up in the Midcoast Maine area and has always been proud of his Maritime heritage, having come from a large line of master shipbuilders. After graduating from Rockland District High School, he embarked on a career in retail and started working at a local supermarket. He then entered a 15-year successful career in the Real Estate business.  After 15 years, one of his listings got he and his wife thinking about being store owners, so they embarked on a 14-year job as convenience store owners. That property was later purchased by the state of Maine and will be raised to make room for a new bridge, which will replace the aging one.

Ron came to Hall Funeral Home as a licensed attendant  in 2012 and has recently added more duties to his employment taking on some administration work in our Thomaston office. He will continue to make the Thomaston building shine by attending to the landscaping.

In addition to his “work-life”, Ron served on the school board in Thomaston for 10 years along with many other town committees and boards. He is a proud member of the Orient Lodge of Masons in Thomaston and has been the treasurer for many years. Ron and his wife Jackie have two children. A daughter, Krystal, is a high school history teacher at Oceanside East in Rockland and a son, Dylan, a junior at Oceanside East high school.

Ron’s outside interests include, working on his lawn and gardens at home, stock car racing, collecting black and white photography, spending time with his family, as well as enjoying the love of his two Boston Terriers - Willie and Sadie.

Ron says, “It is an honor to help our clients celebrate the lives of their loved ones.” He looks forward to working with the staff at Hall Funeral Homes and is proud to work for a family business that has served Midcoast Maine for over 50 years.
