Obituary for Warren Malcolm Little

Warren Malcolm Little, 56, died January 16th at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born June 30, 1958 in Rockland to Malcolm and Maxine Achorn Little. Warren grew up in Nobleboro and graduated from Medomak Valley High School in the class of 1976. He served with the National Guard Reserve from 1976 to 1986. In his youth, he worked on the family farm and as a mechanic at Sulo’s Garage in Nobleboro. He also worked for Reed & Reed Construction before getting a job at Master’s Machine as a machinist in Round Pond where he worked for over 25 years.

Warren was a fun, loving person who was always ready with a joke. He loved spending time “frog fishing” with his granddaughters and shooting the breeze around the fire with his friends, always keeping the laughter going. He was a “hero” and “best friend” to his sons, they couldn’t have asked for a better role model. He was a great handyman who did all of the work on his own home as well as many projects for whoever needed help. He liked working with his hands, building and carving wood into things his wife Penny could paint. His latest passion was growing vegetables and strawberries hydroponically in the greenhouse he built. His colorful comebacks and quick quips could make a stone smile and brightened many people’s days. He didn’t just care for people, he doted on the dogs he had throughout the years, treating them like family members. It is still unconfirmed if he was the one to set fire to the barn.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Penelope Sukeforth Little of Nobleboro
Daughter, Lindsay Morgan Webb and her husband James of Waldoboro
Sons, Matthew Robert Little and his significant other Meridith Hughes of Nobleboro
Wayne Thomas Little and his fiancé Ashlyn Finnemore of Jefferson

David Little and his wife Cheryl of Nobleboro
Sisters, Linda Rogers and her husband Danville of Nobleboro
