Obituary for Earl J. Bulmer Jr.

Earl J. Bulmer Jr.
Earl Julian Bulmer, Jr., 70, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Glenridge Facility in Augusta. Earl was born on August 15, 1947 in Greenville, Maine, son of Earl J. Bulmer, Sr. and Rita King Bulmer.

Earl graduated from Beverly High Trade School in 1965 in Beverly, Massachusetts. In 1968 he married Linda and they made their home in Salem, MA and moved to Maine in 1974 and settled down in New Harbor.

Earl was a carpenter, specializing in cabinetry and fine woodworking and renovating people’s homes. He enjoyed racing cars and motorcycles, rebuilding and customizing many throughout the years. He frequently enjoyed going to the New England Dragway races and going to classic car shows, attending many over the years and often winning trophies for his personally customized cars. His favorite car was his custom 1960 Corvette, always turning heads when out on drives. Earl was a member of the local Lions Club and also enjoyed coaching little league. He was a kind, wonderful man who would do anything for anyone expecting nothing in return.

Earl is survived by his wife Linda Bulmer of New Harbor, ME, sons, Brian Bulmer and wife Sherri of Alabama, Jesse Bulmer and wife Hillary of New Harbor, ME, Harley Bulmer of New Harbor, ME, sister Julie Butruccio and her husband John of Fremont, NH, stepfather Robert Jarvis and wife Roberta of Monson, ME, grandsons Jeremy Bulmer and Gavin Bulmer of Alabama, Maximus Bulmer and Gustas Bulmer of Hollis, ME, Julian Bulmer of New Harbor, ME and granddaughter Vivian Bulmer of New Harbor, Ramune Bulmer, mother of Maximus and Gustas Bulmer, sister-in-laws Mary Bonsant and wife Julie Adams of Bristol, ME, Doreen Despres and husband George of Wilton, NH, and brother-in-law Roland Michaud and wife Louise of Beverly, MA, as well as many nieces and nephews.
