Michael Hall was born in Rockland, Maine to Richard and Cynthia Hall who opened Hall Funeral Home in 1958. Michael purchased the family business in 1992, and continues to run the business today spliting his time between the funeral home's three locations in Waldoboro, Boothbay and Thomaston.

Mike was a Past President of the Maine Funeral Directors Association and served as a National Policy Board Member representing the State of Maine for the National Funeral Directors Association.  Mike has been an active member of the Damariscotta Newcastle Rotary Club. He is a member of King Solomon's Masonic Lodge #61 AF & AM in Waldoboro and is also a 32nd Degree Mason. Mike is also a member of the Midcoast Shrine Club. He is the founder of the kid and teens charity, "Karl's Kids," which helps less fortunate children be able to participate in physical activities that will help them develop healthy life long habits. Mike enjoys spending time with his family playing golf, skiing and traveling.

Mike is married to Liz who works in the office and can be found answering the phones at any of our three locations. Liz was born in New Jersey and went to college in California and came to Maine when her parents retired to Boothbay. Mike and Liz have a beautiful daughter, Emma.

Mike and Liz are excited for Carol to have more time to enjoy her family and all their activities. But we also know Carol is not likely to be found relaxing in her retirement. Luckily we will still see her at services and for special requests from families. It is an honor to have worked with Carol and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts for all the work, time and dedication she has put into the family business. We hope she knows she has made her brother and parents proud.

Carol Hall Perry was born in Waldoboro and is the eldest daughter of Richard and Cynthia Hall and sister to Mike Hall.

Carol worked for Sylvania and then began her second career after attending Mount Ida in Boston and began working with her brother, Mike in 1996. Carol is very involved in Eastern Star, Waldoboro Women's Club, and is a member of the Maine Funeral Directors Association Board.

Carol lives in Waldoboro and has three grown children is married to Jim Perry who also has three grown children and together they have 13 grandchildren.
