Condolence: Dot Dimitre was a true force of nature and a wonderful woman. She had such an influence on me as a close friend of youngest daughter, Stephenie.
She had an incredible laugh and an intense passion for so many things. I remember that she was always on the move. And she welcomed me into the Dimitre abode with open arms. :)
I regard Dot as one of the important people in my life who taught me hard work, honesty and dedication. She was so supportive of all we did.
My condolences to the family on her passing, and also congratulations on a long and happy life.

Condolence From: Anne Swift-Kayatta
Condolence: I remember your mother Dorothy (Dottie?) as a friend of my mom Zoe Swift when we all lived in Portland many years ago. My parents Frank and Zoe Swift lived on Meadowbrook Lane and your family on Winding Way. Anne and I went to kindergarten at Chapman School together; my brother Chris was two years younger than us. My mother passed away at age 90 last year and my dad in 2009. I recall your mom as a nice woman who was always very involved in her children's lives and activities. With my sympathy and best wishes that happy memories will sustain you at this sad time--Anne Swift-Kayatta, Cape Elizabeth
