Condolence: Gail: Ray and I were talking about Rufus tonight and how he was so kind to us when we first moved to Edgecomb, and that over the years he proved to be such a gentle soul....and brave. We'll share more with you but your dad was such a real human being and always an anchor and encouraging figure for us. No wonder his daughter and her children and grandchildren are such wonderful people. Rufus will always be part of our experience here in Maine....and in our lives where ever we are. We are so sorry that he has moved away from all of us here but have no doubt he continues to influence young and old, here and in the next life, with his gentle encouragement. We are so sorry for your loss and the loss of all he loved and who loved him.
