And now I read that Tom's mom has passed. So much sadness for one family. I met Tom and Gloria through my work at DHS and because of this Tom knew I was going to travel to Virginia. He suggested I visit his father in Floyd which I was able to do. The dad told me of the terrible loss of his child and two grandchildren. This family has certainly endured a lot of sadness and loss.

Such a lovely lady. I was so hoping she'd beat the odds and be able to see Valerie graduate.

I am so blessed to have had Mglo as my second mom and grateful for the love she has always shown me. She was a mom and friend and nurse to me and always took care of me. She made me laugh and cry but she always was here even throughout her final days. I could never put into words how much I love you Mglo but I am so thankful for you. Miss your hugs and stories and your smiles. Til we meet again. Love your daughter Bridget

My dear sweet Gloria Jean, you will be missed! There are so many memories my dear cousin I can’t even begin. You were such an amazing person, so kind and compassionate and this is why you made such a wonderful nurse. I remember being in your wedding like it was yesterday, and during that time I remember you and Tommy in the dining room on Falls Road in Hampden when your mom (Aunt Doris) was making our dresses, it seems like yesterday. Oh did you love him so much, you would just light up when he was around! I know you are at peace and knowing you are no longer in pain warms my heart! I am so glad I came to see you this year, we had an amazing visit, we laughed and we cried, I only wish it was longer. You are with so many you loved that left this earth too early, especially my mom Donna Jean Soth, who I know just adored you! I love you so much and know one day I will see you again ((((HUGS)))) to you in heaven ❤️
